LISTEN. UNDERSTAND. NAVIGATE.
I listen to your story.
I understand the complexity.
I help you navigate your next steps.
People with environmental illness often feel isolated. What they’re really looking for is someone knowledgeable who will walk alongside them.
For as long as I can remember, I wanted one thing that many people take for granted—to simply feel well.
My Story
As a child, I struggled with persistent health problems that affected nearly every part of my life. I lived with painful psoriasis, recurring fever blisters that often covered my lips and face, frequent ear infections and sinus infections, chronic fatigue, and periods of deep depression. There were times when the emotional and physical pain felt overwhelming, and as a young person, I struggled with thoughts of hopelessness.
Even then, I sensed that my body wasn’t simply “broken.” I believed there had to be reasons why I was so sick—and that somewhere there had to be answers.
That belief set me on a lifelong journey.
In my twenties, I began studying nutrition, detoxification, lifestyle medicine, and natural approaches to health. As I changed my diet and embraced healthier living, my health improved dramatically. For decades, I enjoyed an active, fulfilling life and built a career devoted to helping others do the same.
I became a Registered Nurse, Certified Health Coach, educator, and former Director of Education at Hippocrates Health Institute. I taught thousands of people about nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle medicine, believing that our bodies have an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support.
Then, around the age of 60, a series of significant life stressors coincided with a return of debilitating symptoms. I once again found myself searching for answers—this time navigating Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) and environmental illness.
Like so many of my clients, I experienced the frustration of seeing multiple practitioners, trying different approaches, and learning that healing is rarely simple or linear.
My recovery required drawing from the best of conventional medicine, functional medicine, lifestyle medicine, environmental medicine, nutrition, stress reduction, and practical problem-solving. It also required patience, persistence, and hope.
That experience changed me.
Today, I don’t simply understand environmental illness from textbooks or professional training—I understand what it feels like to live it.
I know the fear of wondering if a home is making you sick. I know the challenge of finding safe places to stay, knowledgeable practitioners, nourishing food, and the energy to keep moving forward.
Most importantly, I know that no one should have to navigate that journey alone.
Today, my mission is to help people with CIRS, mold-related illness, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), ME/CFS, and other environmentally acquired illnesses find knowledgeable support, make informed decisions, and regain hope.
I cannot promise a cure. What I can promise is this:
You will be heard.
You will be respected.
And you will have someone walking beside you who understands both the science and the lived experience of this journey.
Healing is rarely about finding one magic answer.
It’s about finding the right next step—and then the next one after that.
I’d be honored to help you take those steps.
